Markus Pabst- Moderator

Markus Pabst is one of the most influential directors and authors in the German varieté and theatre scene, widely regarded as a visionary who has redefined modern varieté. His productions combine artistry, dance, acting, and music to create immersive, unconventional experiences that reflect a vibrant urban spirit. Pabst has brought new life to Berlin’s varieté theatre and achieved international acclaim, presenting shows in London, Sydney, China, Canada, and Australia. His production SOAP has toured the world for over 17 years, becoming a modern classic. He has created more than 30 shows, including Der Helle Wahnsinn, DUMMY, La Clique, and Made in Berlin, many of which have won awards at prestigious festivals such as Cirque de Demain and Monte Carlo. An engaging speaker, Pabst is frequently invited to international conferences. As an author, he has written several plays and books including Der Helle Wahnsinn and Der kleine Prinz auf Station 7.

Pierre Caesar

Pierre Caesar is a renowned artist and director celebrated worldwide for his innovative projects in acrobatics, theatre, and variety shows. A former sports acrobat and member of the “Caesar Twins,” he achieved international success. Pierre has performed on prestigious stages including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Royal Variety Show, and major European theatres and cabarets.Today, he blends acrobatics, dance, and acting in his directing to create unique stage productions. Andreas Wessels

Berlin-born, award-winning entertainer, Andreas Wessels blends comedy with gravity-defying juggling. His show “Whiskey and Cigarettes” features unique cigarette tricks. He starred in “Vivace—Vom Leichtsinn der Schwerkraft,” touring globally. He’s also appeared on “Just for Laughs” and “Le Plus Grand Cabaret.”

Søren Geisler

Søren Geisler began breakdancing in Berlin youth centres at 15, drawn to the energy and creativity of the scene. A year at the State Ballet School Berlin and School for Arts revealed that the physical performance could be a true profession- a turning point that inspired him to merge breakdance with diabolo to create a unique act. After dedicated training, diverse jobs, and mentorship from a diabolo coach, he was accepted into the Berlin School for Performing Artists. Three years later, Søren graduated as a state-certified stage artist, combining precision, musicality, and innovation in his dynamic stage work.
