How to View 360º Video on a Descktop/ PC
Bulletin Berlin’s immersive 360º videos let you explore the scene in every direction — as if you were standing inside it.
Follow these tips to get the best experience-
🖥 Viewing and Navigating on Desktop (PC)
You can watch 360º videos directly in your browser on YouTube or when embedded on our site.
We recommend using Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari (latest versions).
There are several ways to look around inside the 360º video:
• 🖱 Mouse: Click and drag in any direction to look around.
• Scroll wheel to zoom in / out.
• 🖲 Trackpad: Swipe with one finger to pan. Use pinch gesture to zoom.
• ⌨ Keyboard shortcuts: Arrow keys ↑ ↓ ← → to move view up, down, left, right. [ ] Bracket keys to zoom in or out.
• 🌀 On-screen control wheel: In the top left corner of the YouTube player, you’ll see a small direction wheel. Click and drag on this to navigate the 360º view.
👉 Tip: Full screen mode gives you the most immersive experience.
💬 Subtitles and Auto-Translation
All Bulletin Berlin videos include subtitles.
To enable them:
1. Click the “CC” (Closed Captions) button on the video player.
2. Choose your language from the subtitle menu.
3. For auto-translation:
• Click the ⚙ Settings (gear) icon → Subtitles → Auto-translate.
• Select your preferred language from the list.
👉 YouTube’s auto-translate feature works surprisingly well for panel discussions.
⚙ Quality Settings
For the best viewing experience, especially with 360º video, use the highest quality available (e.g. 4K):
1. Click the ⚙ Settings (gear) icon on the player.
2. Select Quality → choose “Auto” or manually select the highest resolution available (e.g. 2160s / 4K).
3. If your internet is fast, selecting 4K will give a sharper image and smoother navigation.
👉 If the video looks blurry, check that YouTube hasn’t defaulted to a lower resolution.
